P25. Must I diminish the recess of the electrodes in cars converted for CNG?

The converted vehicles the CNG require greater tension of the ignition system for the formation of the spark in the spark plug, this occur in function of the characteristics of fuel CNG, therefore is very important the use of products of high quality. Using the NGK's ignition cable and spark plugs it is not necessary to diminish the recess enters the spark plug electrodes because they have a high capacity of insulation.

Case the installed kit will not be suitable to the vehicle or without all the components (complete) can occur Back Fire and in these cases as palliative measure it can be diminished in the distance between the electrodes.

Obs.: For spark plugs with opening above of 1.0 mm, to diminish the recess for 1.0. For example: TR6B-13 spark plug, opening of 1.3 mm to diminish for 1.0 mm
