WALL
RECOVERING WITH PORCELAIN TILES
Installation of tiles is done by an expert on the
internal and external surfaces of a building. The process consists
of setting tiles that match the technical and artistic aspects,
and the decoration of the structure.
The installation may be done in one of two fashions:
- Conventional (on finished plaster)
- Sticky putty (on finished or bare plaster)
When installing the tiles, the installer should use rubber gloves,
safety glasses, and other safety equipment, when necessary.
Important
Recommendations
1 - Plaster: avoid using grit, sandy or otherwise, in plaster.
2 - Joints: ABNT recommends placing joints o external walls, with
an area greater than 24 m2 or whenever the side is larger than 6
