WALL RECOVERING WITH PORCELAIN TILES

Conventional Process
Seating tiles

Thoroughly wet the bottom layer of plaster shortly before applying the adhesive plaster.

Apply the adhesive plaster to a thickness of 3mm to 5mm, using a wood trowel. This plaster should be applied in small portions, to prevent drying and to allow it to stay fresh and moist when applying the tiles.

On the wall, mark the height and length of the tile.

Adjust and level it, using the marks as guides along the entire wall, moving from left to right and from top to bottom.

Place the tile on the flat, horizontal, dry surface with the paper side facing down.

With a trowel, fill in the tile joints with nata, keeping a uniform thickness of 2mm to 3mm.

Position the tile on the fresh and moist plaster, while noting the previous marks (press down with hands).

Tap lightly on the tile using a wood thole and a rubber mallet.

Note: After installing about 1 square-meter, use the point of the trowel to make two cuts in the paper of each tile, and tap again to release air.

Finish the tile area (approximately 5 square-meters), repeating the procedure.

CAUTIONS:
- the tiles should be installed while observing the above mentioned leveling guides, and while maintaining a constant joint size between tiles.
