SPECIAL SPARK PLUGS AND CABLES FOR FIAT FIRE ENGINE

The new family of FIRE engines that Fiat has recently introduced for its Palio models, including the Weekend station wagon and Siena sedan, carries products that were developed by NGK Brazil. The FIRE engine, with displacement of 1,242 cm3, 16 valves, 80 hp, and 12 kgf.m of torque, is the most modern engine in production in Brazil.

Fiat and NGK together adopted a spark plug with reduced dimensions, code DCPR8E-N, which were in line with the engine's technical advances and the compact nature of the combustion chamber. The replacement interval is suggested at 40,000 km, making it very economical for the owner.

Resistor ignition cables, also supplied directly to the assembly line, obey the rigorous specifications of the Fire engine. The major innovation is in the spark plug terminals, using thermoplastic materials reinforced with fiberglass for perfect insulation and thermal protection.

All this is linked to quality and efficiency that characterize NGK products around the world.
