NGK INTRODUCES TIRE REPAIR KIT FOR CARS AND MOTORCYCLES NGK Brazil is introducing on the national market its Tyre Fix instant tire repair kit for cars, vans, trucks, utility vehicles, pickups with PBT up to 2,000 kg., and motorcycles. Produced with Japanese technology, the kit can be used on tires with or without inner tubes. Tyre Fix is a very useful accessory, not just in avoiding unwelcome tire changes but as an additional measure of personal security. Without the need for any tools, it is possible to quickly repair a tire without getting your hands or clothes dirty and without much effort. Simply shake the can about 15 seconds, insert the nozzle in the tire valve, squeeze the Tyre Fix valve, and the tire will fill in approximately 45 seconds. Afterwards, just drive two or three km at low speed to complete the repair process and readjust the tire pressure as soon as possible. If the tire doesn't lose pressure after two or three days, then there's no need for additional work on the tire. The efficiency of this product is not as great when there is a side puncture, a tear, or a very large puncture. In these cases, NGK recommends making a complete repair or changing the tire at the nearest tire shop.
