NGK DEVELOPS NEW LINE OF CABLES FOR GMB

NGK just placed on the market a new line of ignition cables for General Motors Brazil vehicles equipped with 16-valve engines. State-of-the-art technology was used to develop an original product for the assembly line and for the replacement parts market. All technical specifications were respected, in order to guarantee the best ignition for quick starts and maximum performance at all engine speeds.

NGK cables can be identified by the codes SC-G78, for all 2.0 and 2.2/DOHC/16V Astras and Vectras, and SC-G79 for all 1.0 and 1.6/DOHC/16V Corsas. One way of damaging an ignition cable is improper handling when changing the spark plugs. To avoid this inconvenience, a special extraction tool was developed to facilitate the removal of cables without the risk of damage. The tool is easy to use and does not require much force.

In order to guarantee the long life of ignition cables, it's necessary to avoid using chemical products that may damage the materials and be cautious when washing the vehicle with high-power water hoses. Further details are provided by Customer Service - NGK, phone
55-11-0800-197-112. The new cables are available in all auto parts stores that are supplied by the company's nationwide distribution network
