New technologies have been requested in many fieds to provide a more comfortable life for the 21st century.

NTK is constantly developing sensors, by adding new technology to its equipment and existing systems in the following areas:

• Flex Fuel engines (Alcohol/Gasoline), informing the ECU for that correct the air-fuel mixture, as the type of fuel and/or the ratio that is being burnt for the engine.

• Improving lean combustion and fuel economy, preserving energy and fighting against the greenhouse effect

• Providing support and technology to OBD II (onboard diagnostics) to maintain the original emission levels in the project

• Technology to advance the TLEV - Transitory Low Emission Vehicle closer to ZEV - Zero Emission Vehicle
• New applications for high performance and high output engines

Heated Oxygen Sensor of exhaust gas for OBD:

The OBD requirements and stricter laws on emissions require greater reliability in an oxygen sensor. Therefore, NTK specialists developer a new project with the HEGO sensor (heated) with high chacteristics like that resistance to temperature, resistance to water infiltration, resistance for mechanical shock and with an sensor element with more resistance to the nugget of water and chemical deposits of the exhaust gases. This new project offers better characteristics than the first HEGO sensors. Currently its recommended for auto makers how NTK project not only for OBD applications, but others as well (also flex fuel engines).
