Iridium
Improvement in the
combustion through the best
ignition
The new spark plug NGK IRIDIUM IX with conical
cut in the lateral electrode and with fine central
electrode, minimizes the extinguishing effect and allows
an excellent expansion of the flame during the combustion.
Central electrode with
2 steps
The spark plug NGK IRIDIUM IX possesss a central
electrode patented with two steps, providing one better
characteristic of anti-carbonization under all the
conditions of functioning of the engine. The two steps of
the central electrode facilitate a secondary
microdischarge that burns the deposited coal thus that
it form.
Reduction of the required voltage
The fine central electrode and the conical cut of
the lateral electrode increase the electric field strenght
formed in the region of the recess, reducing the voltage
required for the beginning of the flash. It is gotten
thus, the one best one broken the cold and faster answers
during the acceleration.
